Carleton Montessori School offers a high quality private education to children between the ages of 2 ½ to 6 in a loving, nurturing, and safe environment.The school emphasizes learning, discipline, respect for others and oneself. This is achieved through the excellent staff that adhere to fundamental academic principles using the Montessori Method.
Our Mission at CMS
We are committed to equipping 2 ½ to 6 year old children with the skills, attitudes and literacy necessary for primary school. Sound foundations for reading, writing and arithmetic will be developed in each child using the Montessori philosophy.
We will strive to make education a joyful experience so that each child can become a self-motivated, lifelong learner. We will nurture in each child a positive attitude towards school and learning.
Our Goals and Objectives
At CMS, we provide a Montessori environment with carefully
planned activities. The activities are designed to develop a child's potential to the fullest by directing and nurturing each child's creativity, attitudes, habits and important skills for lifelong learning in each child.
The specific goals for the children of Carleton Montessori School are:
